Ketamine metabolism

Ketamine is metabolized primarily by hepatic CYP3A4 and CYP2B6 enzymes to norketamine and hydroxynorketamines. Drug interactions with CYP3A4 inducers or inhibitors can alter exposure and should be reviewed pre-treatment.
