Ketalux is an independent educational publication based in Chicago, Illinois, that helps readers understand ketamine therapy, neuroscience, and evidence-based mental wellness without hype or promotional framing.

Who runs Ketalux

Ketalux is owned and operated by Ira Zoot, an independent publisher based in Chicago, Illinois. Ira commissions, edits, and reviews every article on the site, and is responsible for editorial standards, corrections, and reader correspondence. Reach Ira directly at ira@idigits.com.

Our mission

The public conversation about ketamine therapy is loud, commercial, and often misleading. Ketalux exists to give patients, families, and clinicians a calm, sourced reference they can actually trust. We publish long-form educational material, not marketing.

What we publish

Overviews of conditions treated with ketamine, primers on how treatment is delivered, summaries of safety and drug-interaction risk, integration and lifestyle guidance, and measured reporting on the research literature. Every clinical page cites the evidence it draws from and links to primary sources when available.

How we work

Clinical content is structured around peer-reviewed evidence and reviewed for medical responsibility before publication. Our editorial standards, content review process, and medical content policy explain the process in detail. Corrections are logged and dated.

What we don't do

Ketalux does not treat patients, prescribe medication, evaluate symptoms, or operate as an affiliate funnel for clinics or telehealth companies. We are not a medical provider. Nothing on this site is medical advice — decisions about your care belong between you and a qualified clinician.

How we're funded

Ketalux is self-funded by its owner and supported by display advertising. We do not sell leads to clinics, accept sponsored posts disguised as editorial, or let advertisers influence coverage. Any future partnerships will be disclosed clearly on the pages they affect.
