Editorial Standards
Ketalux publishes about mental health, an area where the stakes of inaccurate writing are high. This page describes how we work.
Sourcing
We prioritize peer-reviewed literature, regulatory guidance, and major medical institutions. When summarizing emerging research, we identify it as such and avoid overstating findings.
Medical review
Clinical content is intended to be reviewed by qualified clinicians before publication. Articles carry a clearly marked review badge indicating reviewer, review date, and the nature of the content (overview, research summary, editorial).
Evidence grading
We describe evidence in plain language and note its strength: well-established, emerging, preliminary, or limited. We do not present preliminary findings as settled science.
Editorial ethics
- No paid placements presented as editorial content.
- No miracle claims, sensationalism, or pressure tactics.
- Patient stories are published with informed consent and identifying details adjusted as needed.
- Conflicts of interest are disclosed.
AI use
Where AI tools assist in research or drafting, the resulting content is reviewed by a human editor and, for clinical pieces, by a clinical reviewer. AI is not used to generate unsourced medical claims.
Corrections
When we make a meaningful factual error, we correct it visibly and note the correction at the bottom of the article. Substantive updates are timestamped.
