BDNF
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor - a growth factor for neurons.

BDNF supports neuronal survival, synaptic growth, and plasticity. Ketamine and other rapid-acting antidepressants increase BDNF expression, which is one proposed mechanism for durable mood effects.
